This year’s Make Music Day was broadcast live with an updated website and refreshing ideas. Their support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remained unchangeable. This time the goal was to raise 1 million for the 1st “Azov” corps. A special location emerged – “Songs without Shackles”, where favorite songs of war prisoners and missing people were performed. The festival has reached a myriad of city locations, both in downtown and more remote areas. Also, with the help of a route designer, the participants could add their favorite locations on their own interactive map.

Natural History Museum х National Antarctic Scientific Center х ЗМІN Foundation
The Antarctic holiday Midwinter took place in the State Museum of Natural History. The youngest visitors together with their parents explored Antarctica and its inhabitants. During the day the children and their guardians tackled the quest tasks directly at ther exhibition. The culmination of the event was a tour of the exhibition "Expedition to Antarctica" in the form of a walk with polar explorers.
The following visited the museum: Ihor Dykyi, Taras Peretyatko, Elizaveta Safonova, as well as a geophysicist Yevhen Hakalov, who has overwintered as a participant of 9th UAE. The scientist briefed the participants on geomagnetic studies and other related subjects.
ЗМІN Foundation х Vitalnia Cafe х Center for Urban History
Experiment. Eclectic. Exter – focusing on music and art, modernism, and the early 20th century. While working on the event we thought that Olexandra Ekster would definitely come to visit it, therefore we attempted to imagine ourselves as her pupils.. Together with Maria Plyatsko we were creating a papier collé on a free theme based on the work of Ekster. The musical accompaniment was embodied through an author's DJ set by Marichka Porichka.

The team is actively working on the development of performances within the framework of the Naftaprod 2.0 project. Visit to the exhibition of the year KHSA
Khrystyna Boyko and Daryna Shutiak have visited the traditional exhibition of the year of Kharkiv School of Architecture “UN→certainty”. It is a space for reflecting, where the students and the tutors altogether conceptualize the path travelled, and the professional community and the wider audience can evaluate the relevance of the new approaches in architectural education.
Besides, we are sharing amazing news! Our scholarship holders Olya, Danyil and Volodymyr have successfully defended their theses and completed their studies! Our sincere congratulations on the major milestone!
Khrystyna Boyko took part in Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk. "Promoting the economic recovery of Ukraine", organized by the Foundation for Ukraine and GIZ. The discussion was devoted to the search for new models of cooperations between philanthropic organisations, international partners and civil society to support the long-term recovery of Ukraine. For ЗMIN it was a possibility to contribute to the conversation on how investments in the capacity of people, organizations and local environments can shape not only recovery, but also lasting social change.
The meeting was dedicated to the topics of happiness and agency. The program included the discussion “On Happiness" with Volodymyr Turchynovskyi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of UCU, a conversation on the themes of agency with Dmytro Sherengovsky, Orysya Bila and Orest Suvalo. And, of course, a lot of live communication, hugs, treats and good music.
Charity race of UCU
ЗMIN Foundation joined the second charity race of Ukrainian Catholic University. The purpose of the race is to raise funds for the "Donation" scholarship fund to support talented UCU students who are unable to pay for their tuition. Presentation of arts-for-health initiatives
The event took place within the framework of the congress of art for health, which is part of the Healing Arts Ukraine initiative. It is aimed at supporting vulnerable population groups, recovering of the military and veterans, as well as strengthening the resilience of civilians in wartime conditions. The initiative combines capacity development activities with national advocacy company and intends to become the dominant platform on the intersection of art and health in Ukraine. Natalya Paslavska from ЗMIN has visited the event, at the invitation from Art Therapy Force.
